Zaria Massacre: Where is Farouq Abdullah Kano?
Since after the Nigerian military’s brutal and merciless carnage on the peaceful members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, thousand plus of the peaceful members were killed, some still in detention including the most peaceful revered leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) and his wife Malama Zeenatuddeen Ibraheem, considerate number of them were seriously injured with the least of them either burnt or sustained a gun shot or two and 700+ of the peaceful members were missing.
Among those missing is Malam Farouq Abdullah an M Sc graduate studying Economic Psychology in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
Farouq Abdullah is a man of intelligence and sound justice, and he is blessed with a retentive memory. His activities were always geared towards the development of this movement under the guardianship of his eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H). He sacrificed all he possessed for the sake of this religion and ofcourse for the betterment of Nigerians!
He was in Gyallesu, the residence of Sheikh Zakzaky (H); during the attack. Since then, his whereabout is still unknown. Is he among those burnt? Is he among those killed and buried in mass graves? Is he among those in detention at barrack? Only Allah knows the best.
Pitifully, 66 days after his whereabouts, his wife gave birth to a baby boy. The boy was named after his father FAROUQ but people call him Humaid (the name of the last born of Sayyid Zakzaky). What will Buhari and Burutai tell this baby? The baby will grow up without knowing who is his father, how does he looks like? What a pity!
I doubt the future and ofcourse the transformation of Nigeria if it continues like this. A country which the president failed to even obtain a good secondary certificate but is busy killing hundreds of B Sc, M Sc and Ph D holders! Then who will transform the country?
The future of any society rests on it’s vibrant and educated individuals. But the Nigerian government is busy killing these freedom fighters who are always willing to change the lives of Nigerians to the better just for the selfish interest of the government and to fulfil a foreign evil agenda.

Addition From Harun Elbinawi:
We used to call him “Farouk Prof” during our undergraduate days at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, #Nigeria. His late father was a Professor at the University then. He was a honest, reliable, truthful and God-fearing brother.
We lost contact for so many years now only for me to hear that he was at the residence of Sheikh Ibraheem #Zakzaky on that fateful day of the #Zaria_Massacre.
If he has attained martyrdom, so is the path as that is a tradition of the followers of the path of truth. And if he is alive then God free him from the wicked Nigerian oppressors.
