A member of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Muhammad Sani Bello, while leaving for work bid farewell to his daughter Zainab:
As they kill innocent minorities (Shias) unjustly like flies in Nigeria
with no regard for Human Rights, Everyday I leave home I feel…
Whether we shall meet again I know not.
Therefore our everlasting farewell take:
“For ever, and for ever, My Dearest Sweetheart, be to your little
brother like Zainab bn Ali bn Abu Talib(as) was to her brother at
Karbala. For that is why I named you after her so that you can live
her exemplary life. Respect your Mom and never get angry at her
even when you feel she is wrong for she loves you so dearly and
will never lead you to the wrong path.
Always remember that our course is a non violence movement, No
matter what the future brings, there is no compulsion in religion:
Always adhere to THE CREED OF THEOLOGICAL AND LOGICAL
REASONING, TRUTH AND GOOD CONDUCT with patience (the
stand of the Islam Movement in Nigeria) …and you shall have
proximity to the highest good InshaAllah.
If they silent me forever, understand that, Sometime things comes
to an end so that you can have a new beginning. So this means
something new and interesting but not forgetting the past. We live
to uphold the path of righteousness and our death will lead the
helpless wanderers to the path of Truth and salvation.
If we do meet again, we shall smile and eat chocolate together; If
not, then this parting was well made. God bless you as you grow in
this path and May you and your kid brother be a blessing to
